Direct Debit

You can opt to pay for all membership types, bar Day Pass Membership, by a one-off Direct Debit payment. This payment will be taken once and gives you the benefit of a reduced membership fee; for example, in the case of a new Full Membership you would pay £135 instead of £150 if purchasing via the office. Your payment will then continue to be taken automatically on an annual basis, unless you cancel it.

Spread Direct Debit

Paying by spread Direct Debit gives Full Members the option to make four equal payments (from January toApril) for their membership fee.  In order to take advantage of this offer, members will need to have a renewal date of 1 January, so if you are joining British Eventing for the first time you can purchase a new membership any time after the 1 January for the amount of months left to the end of December. Your renewals will then be spread over the first four months of every year, unless you cancel the spread Direct Debit.

Payment by spread Direct Debit can only be chosen once. If your membership then lapses for any reason, you will only be able to renew via the usual one-off payment Direct Debit option or by cheque/credit/debit card.

Cancelling spread Direct Debit payments must be done before 31 December each year. You can contact us or your bank to cancel the payment, but if you cancel after the payment has been taken, you will need to return your membership card to us and we will then refund the payment less a £10 admin charge.
