The Mark Todd Bridging the Gap (MTBTG) training series, in association with Keyflow, has been designed specifically for those aiming at Advanced or 3* level, and those working towards a more established 4* level. The series ultimately aims to ‘Bridge the Gap’ between under 21s/Young Riders and World Class, providing high level coaching support. The series also includes a scholarship which gives one talented rider a fantastic prize bundle from the Mark Todd Collection and Keyflow, including world class training with Sir Mark Todd.
Throughout the season, MTBTG riders can look forwards to free on-event support in the form of cross-country course walks and coaching support from our highly qualified coaches. For more information including dates and events, you can contact Gill Watson (07860 533357) or Lizzel Winter (07974 010436).
As an extension to the MTBTG series, British Eventing has teamed up with the Mark Todd Collection and Keyflow Feeds to provide an amazing sponsorship and support package for one talented rider.
All riders that take part in one or more of the ridden MTBTG training sessions are eligible to apply for the MTBTG Scholarship. In this exciting initiative, the winning applicant will receive the following sponsorship and support package for the subsequent eventing season:
- Three individual training sessions as well as mentoring from the legendary Sir Mark Todd
- A year’s worth of Mark Todd Keyflow feed for one horse to the value of £1500, plus nutritional advice
- Clothing, tack and horse-wear from the Mark Todd Collection to the value of £1500
We are looking for someone who is working hard to fulfil their competitive ambitions but who perhaps lacks the resources to access world class training and support. Sir Mark Todd will work with MTBTG coaches Gill Watson and Lizzel Winter to select the winner, along with representatives from Keyflow Feeds and the Mark Todd Collection.
